I think the Sierra Leone marathon runners did the wrong thing by not turning up to their Commonwealth Games events and by running away and hiding.  However I feel really sorry for them because there country is full of poverty and they do not have the same opportunities as Australians and I can understand why they would want to run away and not go back to their home country.
